LETTER FROM THE CEO
Dear Clarity Supporters,
Thank you for visiting our website and expressing interest in our cause. We are a group of high school seniors in Rudy Sumpter’s “Business Strategies” course at Monarch High School. We have teamed up with “The Fire Within” in order to achieve our mission: promote positive future-seeking visions in every student to decrease factors within our school and district that play a role in teen suicide. We are so excited to announce the soon arrival of our products that will help us achieve this- water bottles and stickers!
Through our research we found that our peers at Monarch High School and in the Boulder Valley School District are struggling to balance everything that comes along with high school. With clubs, sports, friends and family, studying and constant academic pressure, life can get hectic and overwhelming. We want to help! Our water bottles are simple and beautiful to encourage you to take care of your physical health. But it’s the message behind our brand that encourages our customers to take care of their mental health.
The name “Clarity” was actually inspired by the lack of clarity that many teenagers face in their lives. With the clouding visions of academic pressure amongst other factors, it can be easy for all of us to stop taking care of ourselves. Our slogan “See Your Future” encourages our customers to look past these clouding visions and see their own unique futures.
The stickers that come with your water bottle, and which sell at $1 each separately, feature beautiful graphic designs with our company name, logo, and slogan and most importantly the National Youth Crisis Hotline, which is (800)-448-4663. Because our main goal is to decrease the factors that lead to teen suicide, we feel that this hotline number is the most vital to our customers.
We want our water bottles and stickers to bring about a greater sense of physical and mental health as well as awareness to our cause. With the ample amount of resources and information on our website and the message behind our products, we feel that we are making it easier to talk about suicide prevention and for students to get help.
We are so grateful that you are on this journey with us. We are so excited and hopeful that we will not only sell great products, but more importantly make a difference in Monarch students’ lives.
